The Mark of Athena
In the book seven half bloods go on a quest to save Rome from two giants and follow the Mark of Athena. The Mark of Athena is a quest that children of Athena take to get back a giant statue of Athena that was stollen. There are three challenges to overcome. Most children of Athena fail because they hate spiders and a giant one is guarding the statue. They travel in a giant war ship. They also fight giants that are trying to take over the world! I like the book because there were so many characters.

The Boston Massacre
I think the book teaches you a lot about the Boston Massacre. You can choose to be a apprentice, a British soldier or John Hancock's maid. It allows you to experience life under Britain's rule in 1770. This book helps you understand what leads up to the Revolutionary War. I like the book because you can choose what to do, but it doesn't always have the choices you want. This series of Choose Your Own Adventure books gives you a perspective of both sides of history.

The Biggest Pumpkin Ever
The book is about two mice who fell in love with the same pumpkin. One night they found out they were both helping it grow. They agreed to enter it in the fair. It was the biggest pumpkin ever! This book tries to teach a lesson about believing in something and working together.

Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot by Dav Pilkey
This series is about a mouse named Ricky and his Robot. Ricky and his Robot have many adventures like The Mecha-Monkeys from Mars, The Voodoo Vultures from Venus and The Un-Pleasant Penguins from Pluto plus many more. All titles are alliterations. You don't have to read the series in order, but I would. This is one of the first series I read and I enjoy it because you learn about the planets. I also like the robot.

Ancient Rome:An Interactive History Adventure
I liked this book. It has real events that happened in Rome, but it's made so you can choose what the story is. For example, when Julius Caesar dies you get to choose if you want to join the plot or if you want to stay out. I like that there are some real events and some imaginary events. It also has a time line, a glossary and "other paths to explore"(more information about Rome).
The Serpent's Shadow
The main characters are Carter and Sadie. It took place in the present .The setting is Brooklyn but they used port holes to go many places. They are in their nome studying. Apophis is rising and the House of Life is collapsing.Carter and Sadie take Apophis's shadow and force him into Duat. I love the book! There was a lot of suspense. I really like books by Rick Riordan. I like how his books are about mythological gods based in present day .

I think you should read a book called Lindsay the Luck Fairy. It is written by Daisy Meadows and is one book from the series called Rainbow Magic. This book is funny and exciting. I thought it was enchanted with magic. Rainbow Magic is my favorite series to read. I haven't read all of them but I enjoyed Lindsay the Luck Fairy because that is my name.
