The Boston Massacre

I think the book teaches you a lot about the Boston Massacre. You can choose to be a apprentice, a British soldier or John Hancock's maid. It allows you to experience life under Britain's rule in 1770. This book helps you understand what leads up to the Revolutionary War. I like the book because you can choose what to do, but it doesn't always have the choices you want. This series of Choose Your Own Adventure books gives you a perspective of both sides of history.

Peter Nimble and His Fantastic Eyes

The book was about a blind, orphaned boy, who was an heir to the thrown, and how he became a thief to become a King. Peter had to find the lost kingdom in the book and needed to steal a magical box to embark on his journey. Some of the parts were sad but the book was very good. The book takes place in a magical world with many oceans. The boy has a companion on his whole journey, who is a knight. He meets him in the Troublesome Lake and gets a surprise. I couldn't put it down because the adventure was quickly changing. I also really liked the book because his special ability was something other than an item you can hold, it was something that was part of his body and helped his disability.
