Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library

This book is about 12 kids that win a essay contest and get to spend a night in a new library that is really cool. They spend the night in the library. Then Mr. Lemoncello, the creator of the library, says that he wants to play a game. The game is to escape from the library without using the front door or the emergency exits. They must break codes, decipher riddles and find books to escape the library. The book was very exciting because it kept you on the edge of your seat.

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda

The book is about a kid in 6th grade that made an origami yoda. But this is no ordinary origami yoda, this one gives you advice. So all his friends try to find out if it gives good advice. I liked the book because it had comics all over the sides of the pages. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes origami and Star Wars. I would also like to say that this book is in a series.

The Secret Chicken Society

This book was about four siblings. One of the brothers gets to keep five chickens  from school, well he thinks they are chickens but one of them is actually a roster and you are not allowed to keep rosters in the city so they form the secret chicken society. I did not really like the book because it was sort and a bit boring but I recommend it to people that like sort books.

Capture the Flag

This book is about three kids who all go to the same art museum to see the original American flag. They're not friends and they do not know each other, but coincidentally they sit next to each other while their moms and dads are at a celebration for the restoration of the flag. Later that day they meet at the airport. They learn that their moms and dads are part of a secret society that protects art. Then they learn that the flag has been stolen. Their flight is canceled because of a big snowstorm. So to pass the time they try looking for the flag in the airport. I thought it was a great book because it kept you on your toes all the time. This author's writing style reminds me of the A to Z Mysteries on a slightly more advanced reading level. This book would be the perfect book to read during a snowstorm, snuggled up by a warm fire.

Eager and the mermaid

In the book there are droughts all over the world and nobody knows why! Then The Ban is lifted so Eager can come out of hiding. He meets a BDC4 on his way to the Bells house. He finds out that the BDC4 has no owner because his owner died, his name is Cedric. They have many adventures together and solve the water problem. I liked the book because of the cool technology.
