TAILS FROM HISTORY : A PUPPY FOR HELEN KELLER

In 1937, HELEN KELLER, a woman who was blind,  deaf and could not talk, went to Japan.
A woman taught her to use sign language. But she started in America and she sailed to Japan.

HELEN wanted to meet an Akita dog!

She heard a story of an Akita dog named Hackiko. Hachiko waited one day at the train station. One day his owner didn't come home. He waited a another day. He never stopped looking for his owner.  He waited more than nine years.

Helen asked if she could keep Kami, an Akita dog she met in Japan. The owner said,"YES". Kami died from a sickness. Helen loved Kami.

GO-GO was still ready for a new owner. GO-GO was related to Kami. Will GO-GO get off the ship? YES HE did.  Two presidents agreed over not building new battleships.

 the end....
